Hello everyone. I'm a new member. I'm not a skinhead, but my boyfriend is. I am starting a new organization called GO!SHARP - girlfriends of skin heads against racial prejudice. If any of you are interested, or have girlfriends that are interested, or know anyone that would be interested, have them e-mail me at MatchGirl@gmail.com. I am excited about this and I hope I can get a good turn out. After all, the SHARP movement isn't as strong as it once was and maybe with the support of GO!SHARP we can rise up again. Also, if any of you or anyone you know happens to be married to a skinhead, I am also starting SO!SHARP - spouses of skinheads against racial prejudice.
I am a skinhead...wife and three kids... , but I dont understand why there has to be ORGANIZATIONS on everything...Wife of a skinhead??...So WHAT!!! The skinhead culture is NOT an organized culture from the beginning..so why should people like you and others MAKE it organized in different terms and interests, be it "political" or other reasons????? I don't know, why do "people like you" have to generalize a group as "people like me" by making vast assumptions? I'm not asking you to care, but there is already an organization called SHARP, and there are many skinheads that are a part of it. Also, even though being a skinhead does not make you a membor of an official "organization," it does make you a part of an organized group. This group happens to dress similarly, listen to similar music, hold similar values, etc. If this wasn't true, there wouldn't be websites devoted to letting skinheads communicate with each other and talk about their ideas. So for "people like you," you don't have to think of GO!SHARP as an "organization," you can think of it as a group of people that share something in common, much like skinheads do. I'm glad you are a skinhead. Your wife and kids are probably very happy.
I like skinheads. I hate racial prejudice. I want to get to know more people like that.
You dont seem to understand my opinions...why SHOULD skinheads be named as "SHARP" in the beginnning....We DONT have to APOLIGISE for beeing SKINHEADS!!! Nazis hate England, so they are NOT SKINHEADS! My forefathers fougth with the English AGAINST the nazis in wwII.....WHERE ARE YOU FROM??
By the way...The biggest racial prejudice is i n th e state of ISRAEL at the moment...building funny walls etc......So WHY try to connect skinheads whit racism??? Dont you know the history of the skinhead cult!! IS THERE A NEED OF "SHARP"????? THINK AGAIN!! All the best from Einar.....
In my opinion, for that to be skinheads, it is not necessary to have political convictions and to consist in any organization. Skinhead-it is a way of life, music, good clothes, beer, football, sex and fights! Here that it is necessary to us!
Stuck in America and surrounded by "support groups"! They have a freaking support group for everything including a "Support group for people without a support group"! A support group for girlfriends of Skinheads.. How about a support group of r Skinheads who have girlfriends who need a support group?
